Gastric Fundal Varices


Isolated fundic varices (ie, without junctional or oesophageal varices) do not typically occur in the setting of cirrhosis unless some other process is also present.In the setting of pancreatitis, the most likely cause is splenic vein thrombosis.



GOV1: Oesophageal variced and gastric varices along the lesser curve
GOV2: Oesophageal variced and gastric varices along the fundus
IGV1: isolated gastric varices in the fundus 
IGV2: Varices at ectopic sites in the stomach or the first part of the duodenum.
